Location
Poesis is based in Jacobs Well, a beautiful 15th century Medieval hall with a rich history both as a parish room for Holy Trinity Church as will as an Inn. It is located just off Micklegate, one of York’s most historic streets, next to the residential area of Bishophill.
Poesis has taken inspiration from Kairos in London. Poesis share Kairos’ starting point that we are entering a period of unprecedented transformation and planetary change, and we intend to be a space for those wanting to explore topics that emerge from this. We hope that this, along with Kairos can be the start of a network of similar spaces in every city.
